Electronic dance floors have become common at sweet 15 quince celebrations. These floors come in a variety of sizes and capabilities. Some powered dance floors sparkle or twinkle white, some provide an acrylic surface through which you look down and see a mirror image of yourself, with dots of tape lights around each square. Those are called infinity floors and sometimes they are installed as a checkerboard pattern where every other panel is solid white. Be aware that these floors are not allows agreeable for people wearing short dresses and skirts due to the mirror image.

Our dance floor is a different style of LED floor that is sometimes called a pixel floor. It contains dots under textured and tempered glass. Those dots illuminate via a computer program that provides the ability to display custom media such as pictures, graphics, a logo, video, scrolling text and animations. Although there are video dance floors that are much like a giant TV screen, our floor’s pixels are not that close together so that under the glass, there are sensors that return data to the computer, indicating where the sensors think a person is located. This allows the computer to respond to each person’s feet by changing the display. Our software contains 12 different interactive responses to the dancers.

An interactive video dance floor is in a way very rare as there are only a few of them in the United States. As a portable service, we’ll provide a quote to take it most anywhere and have so far taken it 1,200 miles for one event. We’re based out of the Tampa, Florida area and are happy to visit new locations where our interactive LED dance floor can enhance a celebration.
